Community Guidelines

BorKeinya is built on trust, dignity, and cultural respect. These guidelines exist to ensure every member feels safe and honoured in this sacred process.

Respect & Dignity

  • Treat every member with the same respect you would give your own family.
  • All communication through BorKeinya must be polite, culturally sensitive, and free from discrimination.
  • We celebrate the diversity within the Manipuri community — no member shall be demeaned based on Yek, Salai, profession, or place of origin.
  • Any form of harassment, threatening language, or disrespectful communication will result in immediate removal.

Authenticity & Honesty

  • All information provided in your profile must be truthful and accurate.
  • Profile photos must be genuine, recent, and represent you as you are today.
  • Misrepresenting your education, profession, family background, or Yek-Salai is a serious violation.
  • Creating multiple accounts or impersonating another person is strictly prohibited.
  • The team personally verifies all profiles — providing false information wastes her time and disrespects other members.

Prohibited Behaviour

  • Using BorKeinya for any commercial purpose, solicitation, or advertisement.
  • Sharing or soliciting explicit content of any kind.
  • Attempting to contact members outside the BorKeinya platform without mutual consent.
  • Collecting personal information of other members for unauthorised use.
  • Using the platform under the influence of false pretences or with fraudulent intent.
  • Sharing another member's personal details with third parties without consent.

Reporting Violations

  • If you encounter a profile or behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it to support immediately.
  • All reports are treated with complete confidentiality.
  • The team investigates every report personally and takes appropriate action including warnings, suspension, or permanent removal.
  • False reports made in bad faith will also be treated as a violation.
